Adjara Art Museum

Adjara Art Museum is located in the center of Batumi on Zurab Gorgiladze Str. 8. It has a great collection of Georgian contemporary fine arts. Among the exhibits are works by Niko Pirosmani, David Kakabadze, Lado Gudiashvili, Elene Akhvlediani, Merab Berdzenishvili, Edmund Kalandadze, Zurab Nizharadze, Karlo Grigolia (bronze sculpture left), Nikoloz Ignatov, Rusudan Petviashvili, to mention a few (from the collections).

The museum building originally served as the State Revolution Museum after World War II, but was reconstructed into an art museum in the early post-Soviet period. Website of the Adjara Art Museum:
